01 About me
Hey, my name is Tashi Wangdi — also known as Megabyte, my nickname.
I am from Bhutan and have been working as an official cultural and trekking guide since 2018.
After COVID everything changed — especially in the tourism field. New rules and regulations came, a new system came, and since the system was new it kept updating now and then. People working in the field were confused. A new SDF and visa fee came into place, and there were lots of questions. Since I worked with both regional and international guests, I had the knowledge — so, to share it, I created this website.

Cultural tours
Dzongs, markets, festivals and the stories behind them — Bhutan the way a local tells it, not the way a brochure does.
Trekking
Pristine Himalayan trails, a guide who knows the way, and a very good reason to leave your screen behind.
Photography
Bhutan through the lens — its dzongs, festivals, trails and everyday moments, captured so you can take them home.
Hosting
Since COVID, guides in Bhutan can host tourists directly, and I do too — I welcome you, look after you and guide you from the day you arrive.
